Nursing Services

Nursing is the part of your stay you’ll feel most, hour by hour. Our licensed nurses are here 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and they’ll know your name, your plan, and what changed overnight. Physicians and nurse practitioners are on site seven days a week, so questions don’t wait for Monday.

Rehabilitation & Therapies

Our physical, occupational, and speech therapists are in-house staff, and therapy runs seven days a week. Most patients start within a day of arriving, because recovery goes better when it starts early. You’ll set the goals together, and you’ll see the same faces working toward them with you.

Specialized Care

Our team includes a wound care physician, a physiatrist, a pulmonologist, and psychiatric care, working alongside nurses trained in the clinical needs below. If you’re not sure whether we can meet your loved one’s level of care, ask us and we’ll tell you straight.

Subacute Care

Some patients are ready to leave the hospital but not ready to leave hospital-level monitoring, and very few facilities in Sacramento County are set up to take them. Our subacute wing is one of them, with 28 contracted subacute beds, continuous vital monitoring, ventilator alerts at the nurses’ station, and respiratory therapists on site 24 hours a day. If you’re a case manager wondering whether we can take a vented or trached patient, reach out to our admissions team and we’ll give you a straight answer quickly.
