Our family is incredibly grateful to Sacramento Post Acute for the outstanding care they provided to my dad during his rehabilitation. From the moment he arrived, we were met with kindness, compassion, and professionalism from every member of the staff. The nurses, therapists, caregivers, and support staff were always friendly, passionate, encouraging, and genuinely invested in his recovery. They treated him with dignity and respect, and they always took the time to listen to his needs and concerns. Their dedication and positive attitudes made a difficult time much easier for both my dad and our family. What stood out the most was the warm, family-like atmosphere. The staff truly made us feel like we were part of their family, and it was evident that they cared deeply about the well-being of their residents. The food was really good, the therapy and treatment were outstanding, and the overall quality of care exceeded our expectations. Thanks to the hard work and support of the entire team, my dad made great progress during his stay. We sincerely thank everyone at Sacramento Post Acute for their compassion, encouragement, and exceptional care. We would absolutely recommend Sacramento Post Acute to anyone seeking rehabilitation services or skilled nursing care. They provide not only excellent clinical care but also a caring and supportive environment that makes all the difference.

We had a very positive experience at Sacramento Post Acute Rehabilitation Facility while my dad was receiving care. The physical therapists were patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping my dad regain his strength and mobility. They worked with him consistently, celebrated his progress, and encouraged him even on the more difficult days. Their professionalism and compassion made a real difference in his recovery and gave our family confidence that he was in good hands. We would like to thank the entire physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy team. Especially want to thank Morgan, Stephanie, Adriana, and Maria who worked so well with dad for both stays. Special thanks to the CNA team and nursing team, especially, Grace who was so attentive and kind! We are very grateful to the PT team and all of the staff who cared for my dad. Thank you for the hard work, compassion, and dedication you showed him throughout his stay. I would definitely recommend Sacramento Post Acute Rehabilitation Facility to families looking for supportive rehabilitation care.

Sacramento Post Acute was wonderful. The staff here put our minds at ease from day one. My husband is a returning patient and was welcomed back so warmly and kindly. Every member of the team—therapists, nurses, CNA and support staff—was consistently friendly, warm, and genuinely encouraging. They motivated my husband with patience and kindness throughout his rehabilitation. Their positive attitude and personalized support made a real difference in helping him gain the strength to be able to come home. The facility itself feels caring and professional, and the focus on getting residents back home safely is clear in everything they do. I would highly recommend Sacramento Post-Acute to any family in a similar situation.

My mom had spinal surgery. At 93 they were so helpful to get her PT going. She recovered quickly. The staff was especially helpful during periods of sadness over her condition. She’s very active this was totally out of her control. There were so many professionals that took an active interst in helping her. I was always keep in the loop they called with updates or alternative assistance during her stay. She came home today positive and mentally uplifted ready for the next phase of recovery. I can’t say enough how exceptional I found their professional and personal attention to her care. Thank you can’t cover it. But a blessing you are to those who need you!!!

I have been visiting a friend staying at the Sacramento Post Acute facility. Every staff person I have passed by, asked a question of or needed something ftom have been very friendly and accommodating. Everyone always has a smile to give. The only care concern is the delay of receiving medications in a timely manner. This is the second day she has not had her eye medication. Parking is not easy to find. The parking lot is very small and I’ve noticed that staff uses it therfore leaving minimal if any spaces for visitors. Street parking is also not easy to find in part because of an apartment complex and staff. Update: 1 week later. I believe the past parking problem was on part due to students doing on-site training prior to graduating which they have done. The staff is VERY accommodating in a caring friendly manor. I frequently see someone sanitizing the hand rails in the hall which are used by patients, nice to see. The food is always on time and there has been little wait time in answering a call button. I think this facility works hard and would recommend it.

Although I ultimately chose to return home, I want to thank the staff at Sacramento Post Acute for the care they provided during my recovery following spine surgery. The nurses, CNAs, therapy staff, admissions team, and management were consistently professional, respectful, and attentive to my needs. Julie in Admissions was especially helpful throughout my stay and during the discharge process. The staff listened to my concerns, worked with me regarding medications, and treated me with kindness and respect. When I made the decision to return home, they handled the process professionally and ensured I understood everything before leaving. Recovery is a personal journey, and for me, being back in my own home with my support system and my pug, Jada Bug, was the right decision. That does not take away from the dedication and hard work of the people who cared for me while I was there. Thank you to everyone at Sacramento Post Acute for your care and professionalism. I wish you all the best.” -Jeff Watson

My husband is today coming home after 36 days in Sacramento Post-Acute Care. The physical and occupational therapists were wonderful, (scale of 1-10, a definite 10.) As other reviewers have stated, admission was well done, the nursing staff seemed to be overloaded. However they were all very friendly and helpful. And CNA Celly was always very helpful and on the spot. Some other CNAs were good, always friendly, However, there were times when the response to the call light was slow, more staff would, I believe be helpful. The Case Manager, Tze, was also very helpful and communicated well.

I was admitted to Sutter Medical Center for more than ten days due to a serious joint infection that required five surgeries to clean the infected areas. After working with my physical therapist at Sutter, it was recommended that I transfer to a rehabilitation facility because I would not have adequate support if I returned home. After reviewing the list provided by the Sutter case worker and reading online reviews, Sacramento Post Acute appeared to be a promising choice. However, my experience upon arrival was disappointing. First, my room was not prepared for my arrival. The food was overly salty, and staff response times were often slow. More importantly, my prescribed antibiotics had not been ordered. The first nurse I spoke with minimized the issue and stated that the medication would arrive by 11:30 p.m. After waiting, I contacted the front desk and spoke with another nurse who was unaware of the situation. She took the time to contact Sutter and review my transfer paperwork, which clearly indicated that my antibiotics were scheduled daily at 9:00 p.m. Once the error was confirmed, the nurse was able to place the order, and the antibiotics were finally delivered around 1:00 a.m. Staying on schedule with these medications is critical, as missing doses could result in a relapse of the infection and potentially require additional surgery. Another concern was the lack of consideration shown by some residents. On one occasion, a patient had a television playing at an extremely high volume, and I had to ask the nursing staff to have the volume lowered or the door closed. As my stay continues, I will provide updates to this review. My recommendation to anyone considering a rehabilitation facility is to have a family member or friend visit the location in person before making a decision. Online reviews can paint a very different picture from the reality you may experience after arrival. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision when choosing a facility for their recovery. In my experience, many facilities receive positive ratings online, but the actual experience can be very different.

My husband has been in long-term care at Sacramento PostAcute, and I truly appreciate the kindness and compassion shown by the staff. The nurses, CNAs, therapists, and support staff all work incredibly hard and genuinely care about the residents and their families. I especially want to recognize the admissions staff for making a very difficult transition feel much easier for our family. They were welcoming, patient, organized, and always willing to answer questions and guide us through the process with kindness and professionalism. Their support meant a lot during an emotional time. It gives me peace of mind knowing my husband is treated with dignity, patience, and respect. The facility is clean, communication has been good, and the staff always try to make residents feel comfortable and cared for. Long-term care is never easy for families, but we are very grateful for the support and dedication we’ve experienced here. Thank you to everyone at Sacramento Post Acute for all that you do every day.

When my pop was staying here, he almost died because they didn’t care if he ate or not and didn’t try to find out why. It turned out he had 2 abseses in his abdomen due to his surgery. He would have died if I had not sent by ambulance to the hospital.
